Kevin Ryan

Trainer Description

Kevin is an experienced conference speaker, trainer, facilitator and MC. He has thirty years experience as a corporate trainer and fifteen years experience as a professional speaker.

He speaks and conducts workshops at conferences and seminars across Australia, Asia and New Zealand specialising in the areas of business presentation skills, humour in business, sales and customer service. He has been awarded the designation of Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), the highest possible accreditation for a professional speaker and held by less than 600 speakers in the world.  He is a Past National President of the National Speakers Association of Australia.

His clients include large organisations (Australia Post, Carlton United, James Hardie and Suncorp Metway), small-medium enterprises, politicians, members of the judiciary, Olympic athletes and elite sports people. 

He has authored nine books on communication skills and humour in business that are used extensively throughout Australia, South Africa, the UK and New Zealand and in Universities in China and South Korea.  He writes regular columns on customer service, communication skills and humour in business for a number of industry magazines.

He has been a successful contest speaker – twice (1995 &2000) representing his Australian Toastmasters District in the contest for the World Championship of Public Speaking in the USA.

Kevin’s combined expertise in persuasive speech-writing and sales & marketing means he has a unique methodology of imparting business presentation skills that is ideally suited for professionals (engineers, scientists, senior management) who deal with complex information and new concepts.  He is one of the few presentation skills trainers specialising in sales presentations.  After one of his workshops participants will have –

  • A clear understanding of their individual presentation skills and the style of presentation most suited to this; as well as what they can do regarding any areas requiring improvement.
